Mindo (Ecuador) 2011 In July 2011 we went to Ecuador. The main goal was the Galapagos Islands, but before that it was time for a few  days in the cloud forest to the east of the capital Quito, specifically the Mind Valley and Tandayapa Cloud Forest Reserve, which is stocked with interesting plants and colorful hummingbirds. I lived on  Bellavista Cloud Forest Reserve which is located in 2500m altitude, and from here took daily trips in the cloud forest.
